I’m Good

I think I’m good, I think I’m good

I used to be just ok but now I’m good

I’m good,

I used to stay in this perfect little square

It isn’t easy to admit it, but after awhile you just have to claim it

Say “I’m good”

I’m finally good after a whole lot of bein not

good

I used to be stuck in a mess but now I’m not

Well maybe I am but happiness is all I got

I don’t have time to waste waste bein ashamed of my situation, where I’m sittin

I used to hate the fact that I didn’t really fit in

And even though I don’t really now either,

I’m done bein sad and now onto a new feelin

I think I’m good, I think I’m good

I used to be just ok but now I’m good

I’m good,

I used to stay in this perfect little square

It isn’t easy to admit it, but after awhile you just have to claim it

Say “I’m good”

Now instead of “I’m good”, I wanna be I’m great

So startin now on imma make a change

Even though I’ll still be late

Some things just gotta stay the same

Like I was sayin I’m tired of bein tired

So sad, so lonely so confused

So hey, lemme tell ya what I’m gonna do

I’m gonna stand a little straighter, head up

I’m gonna carry myself, self love

Boutta start takin charge of myself

Gonna stand up like I should

I think I’m good, I think I’m good

I used to be just ok but now I’m good

I’m good,

I used to stay in this perfect little square

It isn’t easy to admit it, but after awhile you just have to claim it

Say “I’m good”

Be great, hey, be great

It’s ok to be sad sometimes, but get great

Take charge of your life and be great

Decide right here, right now “I’m gonna be great”

I think I’m good, I think I’m good

I used to be just ok but now I’m good

I’m good,

I used to stay in this perfect little square

It isn’t easy to admit it, but after awhile you just have to claim it

Say “I’m good”

– because being good isn’t a given
